AI Chat Apps LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the AI Chat Roleplay mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
We are committed to protecting the privacy of all our users, especially minors. Please read this policy carefully. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
2. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Our App is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If You Are Under 13
If you are under 13 years old, you are not permitted to use this App. Please do not download, install, or create an account. If you have already done so, please delete the App and contact us so we can remove your data.
For Parents and Guardians
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@roleplayai.chat. We will take immediate steps to:
- Verify the report
- Delete all personal information associated with the account
- Terminate the account
- Confirm deletion with you
Users Ages 13-17
If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you may use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We encourage parents to monitor their teen's use of the App and to review this Privacy Policy with them.
3. Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to provide our services:
3.1 Account Information
- Email address — For account creation, authentication, and important communications
- Display name — Optional, user-chosen name shown in the App
- Profile preferences — App settings and customization choices
3.2 Chat and Content Data
- Messages — Text you send to AI characters (processed to generate responses)
- Character data — Characters you create and customize
- Conversation history — Stored to maintain chat continuity
Note: Chat messages are processed in real-time to generate AI responses. We may review flagged content to enforce our content policies and improve safety measures.
3.3 Device and Technical Information
- Device type and model
- Operating system version
- App version
- Unique device identifiers (for app functionality, not advertising)
- Crash reports and performance data
- IP address (for security and fraud prevention)
- General location (country/region level only, not precise location)
3.4 Subscription Information
- Subscription status (active, expired, trial)
- Purchase history and transaction IDs
Important: We do NOT collect or store your payment card information, billing address, or other financial details. All payments are processed securely by Apple through the App Store.
3.5 Information We Do NOT Collect
- Precise GPS location
- Contacts or address book
- Photos, videos, or camera access
- Microphone or audio data
- Health or fitness data
- Browsing history outside the App
- Social media accounts
- Government IDs or financial information
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

- Generate AI responses to your messages

We do NOT send marketing emails or promotional messages. We do NOT sell your email address to marketers.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the App. Each has their own privacy policy:
Firebase (Google)
We use Firebase for authentication, database storage, and analytics. Firebase processes your account information and usage data.

Apple
Apple processes all payments and subscription transactions through the App Store. We receive subscription status but not payment details.

AI Service Providers
Your chat messages are sent to AI service providers to generate responses. These providers process messages in real-time and are contractually prohibited from:
- Using your messages to train AI models without explicit consent
- Sharing your data with third parties
- Retaining messages longer than necessary for processing
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
We may share your information only in these limited circumstances:
6.1 Service Providers
With trusted third-party vendors who assist in operating the App (as described in Section 5). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
6.2 Legal Requirements
When required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request. We will notify you of such requests when legally permitted.
6.3 Safety and Protection
To protect the rights, property, or safety of AI Chat Apps LLC, our users (especially minors), or the public. This includes sharing information with law enforcement when we believe there is a risk of harm.
6.4 Business Transfers
In connection with a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of assets. You will be notified of any such change and your choices regarding your information.
6.5 With Your Consent
In any other situation, we will only share your information with your explicit consent.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information:
- Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3
- Encryption at Rest: Data stored on our servers is encrypted using AES-256

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

- Account Data: Retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion request
- Chat History: Retained while your account is active; deleted with account
- Usage Analytics: Aggregated data retained for up to 2 years; personal identifiers removed after 90 days
- Legal Compliance: Some data may be retained longer if required by law
You can request deletion of your account and data at any time through the App settings or by contacting us.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data ("Right to be Forgotten")
